No Reserve Auction for a Stock Condition 1990 Honda CRX HF (High Fuel) with a 5- Speed Transmission and having 218000 miles. This Front Wheel Drive 2 -Door Hatchback is the 2nd and last generation made for the Honda CRX, with HF’s gradually becoming a rare car for ones that are not modified and still remain in stock condition. The engine is the 4 cyl 1.5L with Multiport Fuel Injection that gets up to 50 MPG. The engine starts up & runs fine and the transmission & clutch shifts properly with no problems. About the only thing that is not stock is a Panasonic AM/FM/CD System (CO-C1100U) that needs to be hooked up. The previous owner had rust repair work done. The rear fenders had been patched with new metal welded in. As seen in the photos the previous owner had coated the wheel wells, both bumpers, around the fenders and lower panels with a black Rhinoliner type undercoating. There is a brand new battery, along with the timing belt & water pump having been recently replaced. Three of the 175/70R 13” Tires installed still have approx. 80% tread life remaining, and one has about 40-50% tread life left. There is no cracked or broken glass and all lights, turn signals, wipers, and horn work fine. The CRX HF does not have AC. The driver’s side seat had been replaced and has tears under the seat covering. There is a piece of carpeting missing under the Drivers Side front floor mat. The CRX appears to be pretty much rust free including the strut towers, floor pan, and undercarriage. The only known rust is a section on the Driver’s Side Door inside lower end area. I had purchased the CRX last year and had immediately put in storage with intentions in the future for preparing to put on the road. I now have plans on retiring soon and going overseas, so now need to sell… The sale includes a Bill of Sale and the previous owners Maine Title (Title Number 4341135). I am not able to obtain a new Title in my name since the State of Maine DMV will not issue Titles to vehicles that are over 15 years old. Also includes the Original Owners Manual and Manuf. Warrantee Booklets, Original Dealers Invoice and many past service receipts. With the CRX now 20 years old and with 218k miles, bid accordly. Will consider delivering within 100 miles. Will also assist and work with buyer if they wish to arrange to have the car transported.
