The auction terms pertaining to payment, pickup, etc must be observed for this guarantee. This is a great looking, low mileage 1987 Mercedes 300E with 109,705 original miles. This car was owned a university professor since 1995, who traded it in toward a newer Mercedes. The vehicle history report is clean without any accidents or damage, and the Autocheck score for this car is over twenty points higher than the high average for a 300E. The title is clean and clear without any liens or encumbrances. We performed a basic maintenance service and road test and on this Mercedes in preparation for sale. The 3.0L engine runs very strong, and the automatic transmission shifts very well. The owner installed a complete set of Michelin tires which are showing lots of tread. The abs indicator is lit, but the brakes operate very well and the brake pads are all in excellent condition. The suspension and steering feels nice and tight. We checked and tested all of the power windows, door locks, seats, sunroof, and the heater and air conditioning. They are all working very well. The stereo and speakers also sound very good. As a used vehicle, there are some minor nicks, bumper rubs, imperfections and paint fading here and there, but the exterior of this 300E still looks very good. The wheels and both of the bumpers are in great condition. The undercarriage is clean, dry and in excellent condition. The interior has been very well maintained and is clean and in excellent condition. The leather seats are soft and supple with only minor wear. The carpeting is fluffy, clean and in excellent condition. There aren’t any rips, stains or holes on any of the seats or carpeting. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle, and there aren’t any smoke odors or burn marks inside this car. This is a very nice running Mercedes that should provide great service for many years to come. REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES: Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document fees and preparation, notarizations, and courier costs. Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $40, which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own. Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer, cash in person, or certified personal check. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received. All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars, and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size. We will try to exercise some flexibility to accommodate special requests regarding our terms, if they are placed before the auction ends.
