Vehicle Detail
1986 Camaro IROC Z-28 in excellent condition. Car has unknown original miles, but new engine has less than 1,500 miles. New 5 litre V-8 engine and most all components including; but not limited to motor, aluminum radiator, hoses, exhaust system piping, fan relays and starter (professionally installed, have receipts for all work). Transmission shifts smooth and crisp and was recently serviced and is in good condition. Car body was restored last year, taken down to bare metal and re-painted. Body is virtually rust free, only a few spots were found under the spoilers during restoration. New doors gaskets and window seals were installed on both doors as well as a new (greaseable) hinge on the drivers side. Tires are Z rated and in very good condition. I have an extra set (used) of tires and spare parts that I will throw in as well. Interior is original and good condition except I replaced the section and sun visors around the T-Tops, since the originals were deteriorated. The sheepskin cover on the driver seat hides nothing (looks like passenger side), I just like the feel and have the same on some of my other cars. Car has air conditioning, but it does need a recharge as it is not blowing very cold. Other features include, T-Tops (w/carrying cover in trunk), AM/FM radio, Sirius sat radio (we can negotiate if you want this), Tuned Port Injection (was cleaned and checked during new engine install). I also have a shop GM assembly manual for the car that shows exploded views and parts lists, etc and original owners manual. I purchased the car from a friend who has hoped to fix up and restore the car but became sick with the flesh eating virus. He recovered, but did not have the energy to work on the car anymore. I like fixing cars up and bringing them back to original as much as possible and so I took the Camaro on. I have put more (way!) into this car than I am asking, but need to to sell since I have too many cars at the moment and other priorities one of which is finding a new truck to haul my daughter's horse trailer. So, I need to liquidate a few cars and this is one them. This is a great looking classic, reliable car and lots of fun to drive...and priced to sell.
