Vehicle Detail

Please enjoy viewing my 1975 Triumph TR6. It's currently Jasmine Yellow but was originally Green. This vehicle has the OVERDRIVE option & luggage rack. This is equipped with 72 spoke Triumph wires, including a fifth in the trunk (full-size spare). The current paint isn't bad, but has chips in various spots. The paint is presentable, but not perfect. The body & frame are pretty close to rust free. There are a couple tiny bubble spots (see photos around rear tail light and one body panel...very minor). Gaps are awesome. Car doesn't appear to have ever been wrecked. I believe I'm the 3rd or 4th owner. No proof, but I'm told the 76k miles are original miles. By the looks of the car, I believe that this mileage is correct. Very solid, strong car. Starts right up. Not perfect by any means, but this is a very STRONG driver that can be enjoyed as is while gradually doing a rolling restoration. My intentions were to just enjoy the car in it's current state only fixing items as needed. I wouldn't see the need to fully restoring this car. The condition of the body & interior is the reason I bought this car...very solid. I just bought it over the winter & was going to start tinkering with it, but I just lost my garage space. I've got 4 cars & need to unload 1 or 2 of them. There is a small 2 inch tear in the soft top, but other than that the top is very nice. Interior is excellent. The walnut dash is near perfect. The frame, floors & trunk all appear to be very solid. Drives well, but I believe it needs a U-Joint replacement in the rear. I'd reccommend a tune up, brake job, and new tires. It does have a new battery & a newer exhaust. Although I've been driving it fine as is. Just needs someone to give it a little love. I really feel that this is a fantastic investment on an under valued British Classic. I'll try and answer any questions but I am not very mechanically knowledgeable. I've owned 4 old cars but always rely on friends and family to help sort them out. Lastly, from what I've seen there are many rusty, "extreme" project cars out there along with very expensive fully restored examples. I don't see many solid, presentable, vehicles in this shape that you can enjoy without paying the big bucks. This is a car you can drive and enjoy and not worry if the kids climb on the seats.
