For sale is a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle. This car is a great cruiser for someone who is looking for something complete, running, driving, that needs nothing to cruise in. It has a good strong running Small Block Chevy 350 with and Edelbrock Intake and Carb, and cam. TH350 Transmission with a shift kit, and both the engine and transmission have about 3000miles now on their rebuilds. The interior is all new this summer other than the dash, and everything including the dash are all in clean great condition. This car really is perfect for someone who just wants to get in it and drive. The car was restored to it's current condition in the early 90's by the previous owner, not by me. It is not a show car by any means, please don't bid expecting a $10K-20K car here for cheap, it is priced just about what it's worth. The Bad: It was restored almost 20yrs ago and some of the body work is beginning to show. I have included close up pictures of this. The top of the 1/4 panels, an some spots where the sun has blistered the paint. The paint was done by the previous owner in his garage, not by a pro, but looks great from 10ft. The hood has a dent where it looks like someone shut it on something. The floors and trunk were replaced with sheet metal and not reproduction panels. The front bumper was used at some point by the previous owners son as a point to put his jack on and it was pushed up some. Both bumpers would need new chrome, no holes, just some pitting accross them. The passenger mirror glass is missing. The passenger side 1/4 parking lamp trim is missing. It has no radio in it, although it looks as if it had an aftermarket one in there at some point. Again the body work that was done to it in the early 90's shows in some areas, this car is not a show car, it is a great cruiser that turns heads but would need body work to be perfect. The Good: Engine and Transmission were both rebuilt by a local engine shop 3000 miles ago and run and shift strong. Edlebrock Carb, Intake, and Cam. Long Tube Headers and a true dual ehahust with Flowmaster Mufflers The Cam/Intake/Carb combo make great power and with the Flowmaster Exahust System have a great mucle car sound and idle. Centerline Wheels with new tires 3000 miles ago. This car is 99% Complete minus a few trim pieces. The Chevelle needs nothing to run and drive as it is right now as a great cruiser. The interior is all there and new. No rust to deal with if you wanted to fully restore it. It was all taken care of in the early 90's and has not seen rain or snow since. Now for the terms of sale. I have the transferable registration ready in hand to turn over to the new owner. I will do my best to help with shipping for anyone not buying local. Don't bid on this car expecting a perfect body, I have done my best to describe this car as accurate as possible. Remember this is a 40yr old car in good running driveable condtion that needs nothing to be a good cruiser.
