Vehicle Detail
Hello, here's a 62 galaxie sunliner convertible. The frame for the top is damaged, but the vehicle comes with a complete non damaged frame. I bought this car 4 years ago, doesnt look like I will get to it anytime soon, so it has sat in my garage for long enough. It was running when I got it, I drove it into the garage and havent touched it since. The top did go up and down, and there is no canvass. The engine did have exhaust manifold leaks. You can go by the pics for condition of interior, someone threw out the door panels and put wood panelling instead. Guys did that in the 60"s. It may or may not be the original engine, but it is the ubiquitous 352 FE block, could be any variation but this one has an Edelbrock 4 barrel on it. there is a lot of rust in rear panels in front of wheels, and the rear bumper has rusted through in places. This model had a full rolling chassis, and it looks to be in pretty good shape. The windshield has scratched where the wipers ran with no rubber, that was common also in the 60's. There is no battery. Overall, this is a very restorable car in decent condition, a great project and since it's a convertible it will be worth it. This car was registered in New Hampshire in 2006, that state used registration only, no title. The owner signed the registration in the correct manner, front and back, to transfer the registration to a new owner. Tires have lots of tread, but have dryed out considerably and the rubber is cracking. Sold as is, where is. I will help you load it, it is still in my garage. You are welcome to contact me to come look at the car.
