Vehicle Detail

I bought this truck about 3 years ago, and it's been sitting in my garage ever since. I bought it to have it fixed up and to use in parades to promote my retail business, but I've been too busy to give it a second look. I've never started it, nor attempted to. To be honest, I wouldn't know where to start. It was last used in a 4th of July parade in 2005 by the person I bought it from. It looks like it's in really good condition. I've stored it in my warehouse since I've had it, and it's never seen rain, ice, snow, or salt that I know of. It was used as a farm truck, and has not been restored. There are bumps and dings on it, but no rust, and no bondo or anything like that on it. I did have a body shop guy stop in to give me a price on restoring it, and his exact words were, "Man, it would almost be a shame to restore this baby...it's got so much character, and looks so sharp now, I'd leave it the way it is." This would be a great winter project! The cab is wood, w/a leather covering. The leather looks like it has been replaced, but the wood all looks original. I'm not sure what it will need, but it will definitely need tires, and everything gone over. If you know old cars/trucks, then you know that you will not be driving this home. It will need to be hauled on a suitable trailer. I can assist with loading, and will work with your long distance shipper it necessary. I am not a mechanical person, I don't work on cars/trucks, but I will try to answer any questions you have. I do have more photos available. Please call me at (440) 785-3225 Oh, and as far as the price on this goes...I have no idea what this is worth, I only know what I paid for it. I am asking less than I paid for it, only to get it out of my warehouse before winter. If I don't sell it, I'll try again in the spring. Feel free to ask any questions, and I'll get you an answer. I'm not sure about the mileage, but it somewhere around 35k.
