What makes this ram so special is the fact that 1998 Was a big crossover year. 1998 has the 215HP Diesel, rather than the 190HP in previous years. 1998 Was the last year for the super desirable 12 Valve Fully Mechanical Cummins Diesel, rather than the 24Valve. More than half of the 1998 Ram 2500 Diesels were switched to the 24 Valve. 1998 Was also the first year for the "Quad Cab 4-Door" option. To find a 12 Valve, Quad Cab, with a 5-Speed, and in this condition, is next to impossible these days. It has been completely detailed and is ready to go!! It has 185,000 original local certified miles, and runs and drives 100% excellent. We purchased this Ram off the 2nd Owner. He purchased it with only 24,000 miles. There are no reported accidents with this Ram, and the AutoCheck Vehicle history report is included in this listing above this description. The body is really in beautiful condition. There are no dents, dings, or scratches to mention. The rare red and silver two tone paint shines beautifully. The truck is so clean it really stands out in a crowd. The truck has no rust, with the exception of a small dot on the passenger doors. This is extremely common on Dodge Rams, however the bottoms of all the doors are in great shape. The undercarraige on this Ram is in above average condition for this area, and is free of any leaks. The rear chrome bumper also has a small dot of rust. The painted to Match Century cap looks great. The outside is dressed up with Chrome Wheels, Clearance Lights, Foglights, Painted Cap, and Chrome step bars. The tan cloth interior is in excellent condition. If you look over the pictures you will see that the carpets, seats, dashboard, glass, and headliner are all clean with no excessive wear of any kind. This was a non-smoker truck and there are no smoke smells, burns, or marks, anywhere in the interior. I have included a picture of the never used cigarette lighter. All the electronics are functioning exactly as they should.
