Vehicle Detail
1963 Pontiac Grand Prix You are bidding on an amazing survivor 1963 Grand Prix with only 50,183 actual miles. This is a well preserved original car that was never restored and is in nice condition. This is also documented with a copy of the original window sticker, PA title copy from 1989 when it had only 44,550 miles to document the low mileage, 1963 Pontiac Shop Manual, Owners Manual, and Dealer Brochures. This GP runs and drives well and is something you will be very happy to own. This is the perfect car to take the family out to cruise nights and shows in. The body is amazing unrestored rust free condition. It is original sheet metal and very solid. The original Yuma Beige paint is in nice shape. It has common tiny dings and chips as you would expect for a 47 year old car. A couple flaws I would like to point out is on top of the trunk lid there is a spot a couple inches long of paint touch up and a slight indentation on the side of the passenger quarter. Nothing major but I would like to make it aware. Inside the door jams are incredibly clean. The chrome and trim are original and in nice shape. The original tinted glass is in nice shape. The original Aqua interior is in very nice condition. The factory buckets are still in nice shape. The back seat is clean. The door panels are nice. The carpet is in good shape with some discoloration from age. The center console is in nice shape. She has some nice features like factory AM/FM radio, Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette in the glove box, Pontiac Tachometer on the steering column, Vacuum Gauge on the console, Wico Temperature Gauge under the dash, Flarestat Emergency Warning Flasher mounted under the dash, and Remote Driver’s Side Outside Mirror. The engine is the original 16K code 389 with 303hp and 425ftlbs. It runs well and has great power. The Hydramatic auto transmission shifts well and is backed by a Saf-T-Track rearend. She has power steering and power brakes. The Grand Prix also has the 8-lug wheels for that perfect classic Pontiac look. There is a shimmy from the front drums when you brake and an extra set of 8-lug drums included. New trim rings and a set of wheel well moldings are also included. This GP runs and drives well down the road. I enjoyed my trip to the photo shoot as I got lots of thumbs up and smiles from other motorists and pedestrians. Overall, this is a quality original condition 1963 Grand Prix with low miles in nice shape you can drive and enjoy. It has the right combo of originality, drivability as well as documentation.
