I have a nice 89 LX for sale. Its my daily driver and very dependable... I bought the car basically the way it sits.. The only thing I've done to the car is add a 5" Auto Meter Tach and a N.O.S. Nitrous kit. I've also ported the upper and lower intake a little. Which made a big difference. Dropped the car three tenths in the 1'8th mile. Went from running consistent 9.05's To consistent 8.75's on the motor. The car has a Lentech AOD Street fighter Transmission with a 2600 converter. http://www.lentechautomatics.com/streettrans.html The Transmission alone was $3000 and rated to 700-800hp per Lentechs website. The car has a Keith Craft Short Block. Bored .40 over to make it a 306. Forged Rods, Forged Crank and Forged Pistons. It has a Ford Motorsports E303 Cam. And stock heads. Stock upper and Lower intakes that have been ported. 75mm Throttle body and EGR Plate. The car has Long Tube headers off road H pipe and 2 chamber Flowmasters. There is a slight exhaust leak on the passenger side. Hardly noticable. But there. Probably needs a new header gasket. Just haven't got around to it.. Aftermarket upper and lower Control arms in the back. With Lakewood 50/50 drag shocks. Aluiminum Drive Shaft. Drive Shaft Saftey loop. Weld in Sub frame connectors. MSD 6AL Ingintion box with rev limiter. MSD Blaster Coil and MSD Boost/Nitrous timing advance/Retard Box. You can adjust the timing with a knob mounted on the dash.. Battery mounted in the back. Saftey quick disconnect switch mounted by the liscence plate. NOS Super Power Shot Nitrous system with Compucar Nitrous bottle and bottle heater. 150hp jets are currently installed. I have 90hp, 120, and 150hp jets that will go with the car. The car should run mid 7's in the 1'8th mile with slicks. The best time to date is 8.30 in the 1/8th mile on street tires. The car spun through first and second!! And still went an 8.30... With slicks I'll gurantee the car to be in the 7's or your money back!! Other than that. The paint on the car Is good condition. NO RUST. I beleive it was repainted a few years ago. So it has plenty of life left in it. Wheels are in great condtion and look great. Tires are in good condtion but do not match. I had a blow out the other day and had to have one replaced.. The odometer reads 159,000. But its not correct. The speedo is about 20mph fast. So the mileage is actually a lot lower. Theres only 25,000 miles on the motor and trans.. There's also a full array of Auto Meter Sport Comp Gauges in the car. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. But thats all I can think of at the moment.
