Up for auction is my 1972 Monte Carlo. It was my daily driver from 2/09 to 7/10. During that time i've put a new, Magnaflow stainless steel 2 1/2" exhaust system from the manifolds back, all new hardware. I've put 4 brand new BF Goodrich radial t/a's all the way around. I've installed new Moog cargo coil springs in the rear. I have brand new carpet(not installed) for it. It runs great and gets decent gas mileage for what it is(15 mpg in stop and go commuting). The engine is mostly stock but NOT original numbers matching. It has an edelbrock intake and carburetor installed by a previous owner. It starts and runs well with no stalling, even during cold weather. The body is in need of a restoration. The bottom of the fenders and doors have bubbles. The vinyl roof is in good shape but the area around the rear window will need some work. The floor pans are good with the exception of the area under the passenger side rear seat, but it's a small spot. The clear coat is peeling on the tops of the fenders and quarters. The frame is nice and solid. I have lots of original paperwork that goes with the car including the owners manual, original Pre Delivery Inspection sheet, warranty manual, tire manual and the all important Protecto-Plate and original build sheet supplying much needed restoration information. A couple of the speaker holes are connected by a hairline crack(very minor). The passenger door panel is good, the driver's door panel carpet and arm pad are ripped(see pic). The seat covers need replacing but are still comfortable to sit on.
