Vehicle Detail

1960 Chrysler Imperial 4 Door Project THIS CAR DOES NOT RUN OR DRIVE She is nearly complete with the big block V8 and Push Button automatic transmission It looks like someone tried to get her up and running recently as there was a trip permit in back seat expired about 5 years ago No battery, but newer Carb & Points/Cap/Wires etc. The block rolls off the starter, but there is no spark or power to the dash or lights. It could be as simple as fuses, but I did not look. There is some rust visible on the body with some holes in the floor boards. It was originally a white car, but at some point was given a Macco paint job to make it black. There is a ding on the passenger side fin & a coulpe of scratches on the hood that are about 5 or 6 inches long. The door panels are missing as is most of the door trim/handles, but the power window motors are still there (I don't know if they work or not) some of the switches/handles are in the trunk and on the floor in the cab. I have the key to the ingition, doors, and trunk, but it looks like the ignition switch was replaced. The dash and gages are intact. The hood release lever is no longer connected and the knob is on the passenger seat. The seats look like solid cores without any major tears or rips. The seam on the back seat has split but it looks recent. Most of the trim is present, but the front grill Imperial script is missing. The antenna is missing. The M and P are missing from the trunk. Most of the stainless is in driver quality. There is one piece of plastic on the passenger fin near the tail light that is missing and the stainless trim just above the rear bumper on the passenger side is missing. The back bumper has been tapped and the passenger side marker/reflector is missing. It even has all four hub caps. UPDATE -- I picked up a set of used tires and had them installed! No headliner or carpet. The glass is crack free and is not foggy. It does have very faint wiper scuffs near the curve of the glass on both the passenger and driver sides. Reads 39333 miles, but it could be 139333 or 239333. I bought this one as a parts car while trying purchase a running one that needed tons of the trim and detail pieces. The deal fell thru on the running car & I have no need for this parts car. I have the title and will provide a bill of sale. Payment of $500 is expected within 48 hours of the auction ending (paypal if out of town) Balance due on pickup. If you are looking to have the car shipped, I can have someone there to make sure it gets on the truck if needed. Please contact me if you have any questions. The car can be stored where it is until the end of October. If you wish to store it longer it will be at a rate of $100/month. New pics as of 9/7/10. passenger side headlight driver side headlight Passenger side doors/floors driver side doors/floor Looking down the fins Trunk Under the rear end
