Thank you for looking at this No Reserve auction for this Packard Clipper Super 2 door sedan. This rare classic has the 327 straight 8 engine with an automatic transmission and the Esamatic power brakes. It has not run for years but the engine will turn over by hand. All original, it has the stock steering wheel, instruments and even the original radio. Split back bench seat and back seat need recovered. Headliner is gone but the bows are there. No interior door panels on the front doors. All the bright work is intact except for the trim piece on the passenger door. All the window glass is good. Even though this is a California black plate car, it does have rust in the front seat floor pans, but the back seat pans and the trunk look good (except for the bottom of the spare tire holder). One taillight and one driving light is broken. In the trunk are the fender skirts. It has the original hub caps and keys for the ignition switch, trunk lock, and door locks. California certificate of ownership was issued in 1973 and that matches the last time it was registered according to the license plates so the car will probably need attention in every area. Again, this is a no reserve auction so one bid could win. Bidders with little or no feedback need to call me prior to bidding as I am weary of spending good money for auctions won by non-paying bidders. A $300 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction close. I can deliver this car to the Los Angeles area for only $300. Balance due in 7 days or at the time of pick-up, whichever comes first.
