Honda CT70 Mini-Trail 70 3 Speed Restoration Like No Other! You have found what you have been looking for! This way-cool, beautiful ground-up, body-off restoration 1970 Trail 70 3 speed Honda Mini Trail is waiting for you. This is a 90+ pointer, as you’ll see in the photo gallery. Starting with the wheel assemblies, bearings, seals (including the speedo gear seal,) brake shoes, inner tubes, tires, wheel spacers all replaced, Wheels and hubs were painted to OEM colors. Brake backing plates polished, with lever arms, axles, new springs & adjusting hardware. New seat foam and the OEM style reproduction “heat pressed seams” seat cover! The front forks completely re-built and horn replaced with the correct NOS part with correct “gray” Honda OEM control cables along with the special Honda OEM cable zip ties. Every piece of the throttle control, OEM control levers and Trail 70 handgrips; all new! Horn and headlight dimmer switch wires and conduit. With a new headlight that sits in a new bucket and the speedometer bulbs, all new as well! Brand new front and rear fenders, even the front fender control cables guide wire! Of course, Check under the seat, the detail is correct, and clean. Notice the new fuel tank cap. Wiring harness has been replaced with NOS. Ok let’s talk about the heart, the engine. Ignition side crankcase cover new paint mirror polish on points cover; looks factory fresh. The rebuilding of the engine; all new engine piston and rings, fasteners, gaskets, valve seals and valve adjustment covers. New ignitions points, condenser, and stator. Brand new clutch, smooth shifts, and new gear shifter and kick start lever and heavy duty drive chain. All new genuine NOS Honda exhaust pipe and new spark plug cap and coil. New carburetor and air cleaner assembly; all new internals, element, chrome and rubber seals. A full compliment of authentic decals & side badges as shipped from the factory. One of a kind restoration! Clean title current registered in California until Aug 12th 2010 with California street plates. The CT 70 3 speed must be picked-up or shipped within 7 days of auction end. All shipping arrangements are the buyer’s responsibility. I will assist on this end to ensure your CT 70 gets on its way to you. Have crate ready at a minimal cost.
