1968 Plymouth Fury Sport Convertible, Mopar Classic up for auction. NO RESERVE, bid early and often! You've heard it before, and now it's my turn: My Loss is Your Gain! Over $12K Invested. Rebuilt 340 V8, under 5000 miles on motor, 113k on odometer. Mild aftermarket cam, Edelbrock intake, 4 barrel Holly carburetor. New plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor with Pertronix electronic ignition and Flamethrower coil in August, gave overall performance and pickup a real boost! Gas tank replaced in 2006, new fuel and brake lines and exhaust at the same time. Runs strong, shifts smooth, tracks straight and true down the highway, brakes are firm, no leaks from anywhere. Body solid throughout. Painted in 2006, amazing detail work on emblems, handles and body moldings. Fender turn signal indicators work! Power top goes up and down easy, no assistance required, will need a new back window. Top has a couple of small tears but it otherwise intact. All lights, turn signals, wipers, heater, defroster and horn work, new dimmer switch and glove box insert (tough to put in!). Brand new premium carpet with sound deadening backing ($600 installed, took shop one solid afternoon to complete, complicated front seat and seat belt configuration) and dash cover installed at the beginning of summer. Custom Sony mp3 CD stereo setup in underdash housing with speakers under front seats, two component speaker sets fit into rear seat speaker location and amp and woofer box in the trunk, $900 into stereo alone, sounds AMAZING. Chrome "Smoothie" wheels with almost new tires, original hubcaps included. A true musclecar classic, gets thumbs up and big smiles whenever I take her out. I'd keep the Fury if I could, she's a pleasure all around.
