2002 Acura TL Type S for sale by original owner with only 40,000 miles I'm putting up for sale our 2002 Acura TL-S. We bought this car brand new in AZ and it has spent its entire life in the dry southwest desert. It has been our third car which is why the mileage is so low. The car has always been garaged and is in excellent condition. When we bought the car we had the rear spoiler and wooden shift knob added by the dealer. The original unused shift knob is in the trunk if you want to put it back on. This car has been dealer serviced except for the odd oil change at a friends lube shop. The car also has a new transmission from the dealer as it was involved in a recall. I believe it is still under warranty. I have all the sevice records and the original window sticker and brochure from when we purchased the car. The tires are near new and have less than 10,000 miles on them. There are a couple of paint flaws one on the drivers side from a light brush with the garage, and the second on the rear bumper where the garage door closed on the car when it wasn't all the way in. The damage occurred several years ago and we got a bid of $1000 to repair the damage. Since we rarely use the car we decided not to make the repair. Otherwise the car is just like new, never smoked in so it smells just like it did off the showroom floor. I'm am selling because we are moving into a new home and I will lose my 4 car garage. I no longer have room for the cars and all the kids toys so the TL must go. Please no trades, low balls, or scams, I can park it in a friends garage and keep it for another 10 years. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged. I will assist the buyer with getting the car on a shipping truck if that is the desired method of pick up. The car is a great highway car that gets nearly 30MPG so I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
