Hi, here is up for sale a great little car. It's a 1979 VW Beetle Covertible that is in great condition. It's powered by its original 4 cylinder engine 1600 CC. This car was originally manufactured in Germany. It was brought to the States in the early 80's by a German family. For some unknown reason they decided to sell the car to a private person hear in Florida. I came across this car through a friend of mines and i fell in love with it. Thats how i came to purchase this car. I believe to be the third owner of this car. This car was originally fuel injected but it did'nt work properly. Then one day i decided to take it to a local VW garage and it was converted to carborator and since then has always worked in great condition. The motor is still the same with matching numbers that was rebuilt about 3 years ago and runs really good. New work that was done to the car includes motor, clutch, transmission, brake and new top. All the parts were replaced with original parts and had a full tune up. Also the car looks like it was painted some years ago. The paint still looks good and the interior still looks great and its clean. The front and back seats have no rip or tears and also remember the top is new. The rug is in good condition. It also has a new battery thats about a year old. It also comes with chrome rims with good tires with about a 90% of life left. Also all the elements in this car are in working order. Remember this is a daily driver that is tagged and insured. also comes with VW manuel and extra parts. All glass is in good condition with no cracks. I also have the back glass that needs to be installed. Also the tires are 205-40zr17-80w in measurements. Remember this is the last year made for this type of VW. That makes this a collectors car.
