This is a 1997 dodge 1500 reg. cab short box. It has a skyjacker 7" lift system. The axles are dana 60 in the rear with disc brake conversion, heavy duty dana 44 in the front. both axles have detroit lockers in them which are brand new. orginaly the truck had a 318 engine and a automatic transmition. i swapped out the 318 for a cummins 4bt and a nv4500 transmition which i bought from nv4500.com who specializes in rebuilding nv4500 trannys. the bell housing and spacer plate, are from stock dodge trucks that had diesels in them. i bought them from junkyards. After driving the truck for a month the turbo started to go bad so i pulled the 4bt and swapped in a 6bt which i had sitting in the shop from a school bus. the engine has only 140,000 miles and runs great. i was building this truck for and daily driver/ weekend play toy, but i moved and do not have the time to finish this project. THIS TRUCK IS NOT COMPLETE. but is very close. it runs and drives but needs a few finishing touchs. this truck is absolutly perfect for anyone looking for a project vechicle to that doesnt need a huge amount of work or time that will be awesome on and off road. wants needs to be finished is: The exhuast, the truck currently has a down pipe, i have the exhaust that was on the truck when i had the 4bt in it. you will only have to cut off the front of the pipe and weld it the the down pipe that is on the truck. the transfer case is a np205 out of a ford. i used an advanced adaptor kit to mount it to the nv4500. i didnt mount the shift lever yet bout i have the bracket from AA to mount you only need to enlarge the hole in the floor for the shift lever (included) and clerence the tranny flange for the shift rail on the transfer case. for a parking brake i installed a mechanical line locker which is mounted in the cab and i have braided stainless lines run through the fire wall. you only need to cut the brake lines going to the rear and splice in for the parking brake. the poly track bar bushing needs to be replace as it is wore out and cause the truck to wander. the truck will also need wheels and tires as they are on another project truck. but i will supply stock wheels and tires so the truck and be loaded and unloaded. there are no gauges hooked up to the engine but there is an A pillar triple gauge holder with a water temp and oil pressure gauge. the backup light switch is not hooked in but i have the pigtail from dodge to plug into the factory switch in the transmition. other than that it depends on how in depth you want to build the truck you may email me with any questions you have at riceda21@yahoo.com or call me at 570-447-2206. serious bidders only please. i have many extra parts from the various stages of this truck build. that come with the truck if you want them. also in the picture is a roller fairlead, this does not come with the truck nor a winch but there is a winch mount inside the bumper. the paint on this truck is pretty scratch and there are dings and dents. but no major caveins. and there is rust over both rear fenders and door bottoms. the under side of the box and cab are very solid. i have pretty close to 30,000 in this build so this is an extremly good deal for anyone trying to build a similar truck
