WELL.......AS MUCH AS IT PAINS ME ! I have for sale a 1972 buick skylark custom. I originally bought this car from a guy in north carolina right here on ebay almost 7 yrs ago. the car had 85+, 000 miles on it upon purchase. since then I have only put an additional 3000 miles during my entire ownership, being drove only to braves games and the occasional car show in that 7 yr timespan. it has always stayed in my garage w/ a cover over it, which is included with the purchase. this car still has the original spare in the trunk. there is no rusted floor pans. no rusted trunk pan. the car is straight. it has been repainted prior to me buying it and the paint job does have small gravel nicks here and there but very minimal. the vinyl top does have some bubbling underneath on the drivers side but minimal as well. the car does have all A/C componets but needs a new compressor. the back bumper could use re-chromed but no major rust on it. it has a bench seat w/arm rest in front. no original floor mats. aftermarket cd player has been installed in the car. a new set of weather seals comes with the car but have yet to be installed. I haven't gotten around to it due to it living in a garage covered all these years. is the car concourse perfect? no. if you need that kind of car you would probably need to tack a additional twenty thousand to any price tag of a collector car. but is it the kind of car that you can load your girl into and ride around town and have people stare and ask questions about? OH YEAH ! I swear I can't get this car out without having some older gentleman tell me about the day when he used to own one or have some young person ask me about what year and where did I get it. the car has what I think to be the original 350/2bl in it, which runs smooth. it will smoke upon the first crank but I believe this to be due to sitting all of these years and the valve seals might be dried out. it in no way affects the way this car performs and I would and do drive this car to atlanta from the north ga mtns all the time. it's reliable. never failed to crank on me. the car rides....well.....like a buick. so smooth. and looks...just look over the pictures and judge for yourself. I'm not some bodyman trying to sell a clunker I fixed up. I'm not some swindler who's trying to unload a lemon. I'm a 45 yr old man who took great pride in having it in my garage and I've babied this car for the last 7 yrs as if it were my child. but I've found a great real estate investment that is too good to pass up and I need to sell one of my toys in order to purchase. this has been a great car for me and I can assure you....it will be a great car for you. now for the legal stuff: CAR IS SOLD AS-IS.
