Up for auction is a beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang with a good and strong running 289 that starts up with a touch of the key. I will try to cover the car the best I can, but please feel free to ask any questions and I will answer them ASAP. I believe this car speaks for it's self, so this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, high bidder gets the car! VIN : 6R07C222637 The car was painted about 6 months ago with a single stage paint job with integrated clearcoat. There are few blemishes here and there as this car has been a daily driver, but the paint still shows very well. The bumpers, emblems and rocker moldings were all replaced when it was painted, an the rest of the exterior chrome is in good shape for being original. The front grill was also replaced and the horse coral is in good shape. The rims are old school Crager SS and are in awesome condition. Front tires are new and the back have approx. 50% tread left. This car has all it's original sheet metal. A section of the drivers side floor was repaired due to a cowl leak by the last owner, but the original floor pan is still there. The windshield has some scratches from the wipers but is not cracked. All the other glass is good shape and is original Carlite glass. The interior is in great shape with lots of new parts installed when the car was painted. The carpet is in good shape and useable. The headliner is in good shape with only a couple small nicks. Front and rear seats were reupholstered, door panels replaced and dash pad replaced. The gauge bezel and and glove box door are in good shape and the glove box is new. Brand new aluminum heater core with new heater hoses so the heater works great. There is a cd player installed but it is not hooked up. Headlights, turn signals, parking lights and brake lights all work. The engine is a 289 with a 4bbl Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 650 carburetor with electric choke. Mileage on the engine is unknown, but the engine starts right up and runs great. Under the hood are new hoses, belt, spark plugs, water pump, fuel pump, oil sending unit and alternator. The car also has a Fluidyne Aluminum radiator. The engine runs good and has plenty of power. The transmission is the original Green Dot and shifts great with no leaks. This car was originally equipped with power steering, but it was removed by the last owner because it dripped in his driveway. I have the complete power steering unit to go with the car if the new owner wants it. Factory drum brakes all the way around with full pedal and stops good. This car is a nice looking daily driver type car. The car is NOT perfect, but it's 44 years old. I tried to cover the car as best I could, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
