1983 Honda

This beautiful Silverwing Interstate is a former Shriners bike. Before my purhase, It was in a controlled climate storage facility for 20+ years. The bike is all original except for the Shriners addition of Jardine exhaust and the presence of a couple of reflectors added to each saddle bag. The bike had been well maintained by the former owner. Started and ridden occasionally. My maintanance consisted of the following: Carb rebuild, New battery, New rear tire, New progressive springs and fork seals and All fluids changed. I am not a mechanic. So all work/maintenance has been performed by a professional mechanic and receipts are available. It is apparent The bike has never been wrecked or abused in any way. Recently inspected and ready to ride anywhere.Built for touring, it easily cruises at speeds far in excess of all posted speed limits. This is a perfect bike for persons of smaller stature. If you are over 6', You would probably not be comfortable on this motorcycle. The only maintanance issue is the need for front brake pads which I should have installed by auctions end.I would prefer to not sell the bike. However, financial needs require it. I have described the motorcycle to the best of my ability and taken the best pictures I can. Please feel free to ask any questions before bidding.
