1983 Jeep CJ7 for sale...This would make a dependable, reliable hunting vehicle. This Jeep actually has a Wrangler Tub, Front is CJ which hardly has any rust. The frame is in great shape. I do have the rear seat..just not installed. The motor runs strong...the oil pan does leak just a bit. I do have a new FELPRO gasket that will come with the jeep. Yes, its a 83 Jeep....If you know Jeeps.....they tend to leak. Transmission is a Chrysler 999 and its in good shape, stock original axles. THIS HAS THE 4.2L INLINE 6cyl...not the 4cyl -258 4.2L in-line 6 -Auto Trans -Dana 300 T case -AMC 20 Rear Axle -Dana 30 Front Axle -Hard Top and Door -Realtree Camo Wrap Package -33'' Mud King Tires ( 95%) tread left -Brand new Car Cover With in the last week, I have installed : Aluminum valve cover 2150 Motorcraft 2BBL Carb ( much better than stock Carter) Lifitng Shackles Rotor, Cap, Plugs, 8mm Wires, Ignition Coil, Ignition Control Module, Ignition Switch ( TFI Upgrade) The Jeep needs brake work, probably just shoes and pads. Fuel Gauge and Coolant Gauge work sometimes...when they want to. Overall GREAT Jeep, with the combination of not hunting and trying to sell home..I have no use for this anymore. I never registered it, but I do have the Title. Its has been in my back yard or under the carport since I had it. I do have a cover for it.
