For Sale: 1962 Impala Convertible. This 62 has a v8 with a 3-speed manual. The engine appears to be rebuilt and it does run. It is an original manual transmission car which could be switched to a floor shifted style. The fuel tank is a brand new stainless steel tank with sending unit. The car does need restoration, but it is fairly complete. All the glass is still in the car. The windshield is in good shape with no cracks. There is some bubbling in the vent windows, but that is all I noticed. The convertible top is new and the frame is all there. There is a new motor for the top, and the motor cover is there. I believe it needs new top cylinders. It needs floor pan work and has previosly been patched. However, it is not as bad as many restoration projects that I have seen on e-bay. The body will need some rust repair. The interior is missing the rear seat. The front seat is a power seat. The seat is complete, but not hooked up. The rear cylinder covers are there. The frame has some rust and may need some repair. The car has a clear Maryland title. Any questions are welcomed and encouraged. Feel free to come and take a look at it before bidding.
