History: In 1963, only 3,138 Continental Convertibles were produced making it the second lowest yearly production total of the suicide door style convertibles made by Lincoln from 1961 through 1967. Very few remaining of these luxury cars. There is a certain elegance when it comes to the Lincoln Continental Convertible that is unmistakenly Lincoln quality. These are beautiful cars that are graceful in their styling that lends the car character and charm. These vehicles were ahead of their time that impacted the very few who were fortunate enough to own one. This car will attract attention wherever you go and make you a super driver! Private seller is auctioning this car for first time since purchase in 1966. Seller is a member of the Antique Car Club of America. Note: This 1963 Lincoln is similar to one of the three Lincolns presented to President Kennedy for his private use shortly after his inauguration by J.J. Saunders, administratvie manager of the Ford Motor Company in Natic, Massachusetts. The cars, delivered in the fall of 1962, were to be used not for presidential touring, but for JFK and his staff when he visited in Hyannisport.
