This 1950 chevy 4400 belonged to my Stepfathers; Father, it was used to haul lumber from his sawmill in its day but it has been sitting in the barn for better than 20 years now and my Stepfather would like to sell it. The truck body has little rust with the exception of the back of the fenders where it has rusted through, most of it just shows surface rust. As with any truck that has worked in its days there are a few dents and dings but nothing drastic and the rear window is cracked. The truck ran when it was parked but has not been run since, the engine does turn over by hand. The bed is a wooden and steel 12' flatbed with side boards and looks as if it is in good shape and would still haul a load of lumber to the planner. My step father nor my self are by any means experienced enough on the subject of old trucks to even know what this is worth or what it would take to fix it up, so we decided it best to sell it here and let you all decide. This truck is sold AS IS-WHERE IS, we invite bidders to look the truck over please email for appointment. The truck is located in 16875 zip code. The buyer will be responsable for all shipping costs and making arrangements for shipping, we can assist with a tractor to pull or push the truck on the property. A $300 deposit will be due within 72 hours of the auctions end via Paypal or USPS Money Order and the remainder in cash at time of pick up or within 15 days after auctions end time.
