1957 Oldsmobile Golden Rocket 88 Series Holiday- four door- hardtop Information: This car has a J-2 Rocket Engine, 371 cubic inch displacement at 300 horse power with three two barrel carburetors. Span- a - ramic wraparound windshield and a twin strut rear window. Weighing in at a sweet 4,188 pounds. This car was built in Kansas City and rescued from a farmers field in Nebraska. There were 33,830 Series 88 four door hard tops produced mostly equipped with a 277 horse power engine and a four barrel carburator. Only by order they came the 371 CI 300 horse power with 3 two barrel carburator. Lee Petty and son Richard Petty (rookie) drove Oldsmobiles in Nascar races. Ok, well after all this information this is the condition of this car. This car is a daily driver. This 1957 Oldsmobile mechanically sounds quietly and drives smoothly. The motor was redone with original parts also the transmission was resealed. Radiator was cleaned and all the hoses and belts are new. All the wheel cylinder and master cylinder and all the carborator rebuilt new. The fuel pump is new and also has an electric pump. This car has had a full tune up. Has new electronic distrubutor for a better start and 5 new tires classic radial, P-225-75R14. The seats are in real good shape with no rips or tear. 2 years old new covers for front and back seats. All door panels and head liner were done new for the complete car. Also has a new rug installed. All glass is good. title said 34000 miles but car 32000 dmv made mastake . Only the front and back driver side glass has small crack but i have all new glass with frame that will go with the car. All the elements are in working order. It also has all the powers for that year that are in working condition. The best of this car is that it is a rust free car. Solid frame and body. all the floor and trunk are solid Only the driver door has three small spots size of a dime of surface rust. The rest is rust free. This car is an all original car and in good condition. This car does not leak or smoke or have any knock on the motor. Comes with the history of the 1957 Oldsmobile Golden Rocket 88 Series Holiday Sedan Hardtop. Also comes with pioneer system and nion light custom for exabition or local show .has extra parts new for the car. All the rubber seals for all the doors new. New hoses, original jack bumper.and new extra floor jack. Well this is my last summer trip with this 1957 baby. Her name is big bone. The family and i took a 800 mile trip and she never gave us any problems. Also all the chrome is really good, almost like new. On our trip we only stoped to sleep, eat and put gas. We were cruising at 55 to 65 mph and she dont feel the road. She rides like new with a beautifull sound of dual exhaust system that is new that makes it sound real nice. also the miles are register and the title. Front suspension was also done with original parts. All the parts have been ordered from USA Parts Supply LTD Catolog. This car also comes with a 2010 addition part supply. A 1957 shop manual certificate of inspection and some other interesting paper work from this car. For the winning bidder you are going to be a happy person. I hate to sell my car.
