PAY ATTENTION HERE @ @ SUPER BUY @ @ NO RESERVE This is a low mileage, second owner, great car. I have owned this car for 25 years and it was garaged for 24 of them. It is mechanically original, and in great condition, all the stuff works great and it drives very tight. Strong engine and transmission. Original wheels, and new tires. I have the hard top. I was forced to leave the car in the drive a couple of months last spring, and what we believe was a racoon tore the canvas top, and was inside the vehicle long enough to chew the seats and panels before exiting. In addition the tarp I used has damaged the paint. Car is Champaign color with brown hard and canvas top. This car would be an easy repair. To get it in NEW condition the following would need to be done. New seat upolstry and door panels (I'll never use armoroll again it seemed to be the candy for that racoon !) I had just replaced the seats complete so frames are good. New canvas top. Paint job. All body metal is straight and never damaged, no dings or rust. Mechanically very strong, (Runs better than my 95 SL), just got it back from a complete once over from the best mechanic in the Kansas City area. Parts Car: I would be sad to see this car go that way, but it would be a great car to pull the drive train out of or part out. Everything else not listed above is in superior condition and would save an enthusiast thousands as a parts car. I have not included any pictures because I believe that if you don't know what an SL with torn seats, and top look like you are probibly to stupid to realize the value here.
