1977 CJ 5. Bought it for a toy but just don't have the time. Was in good shape when I got it but needed some TLC. Soo.... Completely new brakes, less than 600 miles on them. Paint is brand new. Professionally done at Superior Collision and Restoration here in traverse city. Everything about the vehicle is in great working order EXCEPT it needs a new Fuel Sending unit. The gas gauge does not work. Runs strong with a 304 V8. Never overheats, and idles well. Drives very well down the highway. Did a little off roading with it when I first bought it in the spring but none since the new paint is on. Has a 4 or 6 inch lift with pretty much new tires and rims. Less than 2000 miles on them. Frame was gusseted and strengthened in the weak spots and is completely rust free. Overall the jeep has had VERY little off roading. I bought it from a friend who has a young daughter, they didn't have the time for it either. The paint is in excellent shape. As for a top it comes with a bimini top. No hard top or doors. Other thing that it could use to make it really complete is new boots for the trans shifter and the t-case shifter. The old ones are original and ripped. Runs awesome.! Bid away love to sell it!
