1973 Ford Mustang Convertible This is a very nice looking and very nice driving Mustang Convertible. It was restored to a nice standard and still looks good. This is a three owner Mustang you can drive and enjoy, take it to the beach then hit a car show on the way back. It is a reliable car as well. The body is nice and straight. The owner states the body was done and painted approximately around 1990 to the cost of about $10,000. It has held up well over the years and only has two minor cracks in the paint on the rear of each quarter panel. Expect some minor chips here and there as its been driven but the overall condition is very nice and it still shows well. The paint is well done with a nice smooth finish and a nice shine. The chrome and trim and in good shape. The top was recently replaced a couple years ago and is in nice shape. It is a manual top and goes down and up easy. The interior is very clean and in very nice condition. The seats are in great shape. The door panels are very nice. The carpet looks to have been replaced and still looks new. The dash is not cracked. Under the dash is a trio of Autometer gauges: Water/Oil/Volt. Also under the dash is an Alpine CDM-7874 AM/FM/CD player with a subwoofer in the trunk and amp. In the rear side panels are speakers mounted. The stereo sounds very nice. The owner spent around $1,000 for the upgraded system. The original AM radio is also still in place in the dash. The original 302 was rebuilt in 1999 to stock specs. It runs out excellent. The original automatic shifts nice and smooth. She has power steering and power brakes to make for an easy to drive car. The suspension rides very nice and it goes down the road well. This car drives exceptionally well as is something you can take on long distance trips with no issues. The owner states he will not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. Overall, this is a really nice car that runs and drives excellent.
