1928 ESSEX SUPER SIX 68,116 MILES Up for auction is a 1928 ESSEX SUPER SIX, Suicide door Sedan. My father puchased this car from an estate of a former Chevrolet Dealer. There is no documentation of history, but I have a good clean title. It is my understanding that some of the leftover 1927 models where sold as 1928. This car is titled a 1928. The car has 68,116 miles, and is in good shape considering its unrestored condition and age. This car has the reminants of the original black paint and has great patina. It is very solid, with a few dings or dents, but no rust. I have heard the car run, however I have not driven it, and it is being represented as not driveable. I was told it ran when they parked it, but I am representing the car inoperable. We have removed the spark plugs to oil the cylinders, and the plugs look good, The oil is also very clean. The car is equipt as described: I-6 cyl 3 speed manual all 4 suicide doors beautiful original gauges original floor keyed ignition all glass good is in good shape tires hold air, but are dry cracked rust free body everything is here, with exception of a couple of interior door panels. This is not a show car, it is in original condition. This car is complete, and is a perfect candidate for restoration.
