Vehicle Detail
1969 Chevrolet C10 CST Factory 396 & Tach California Turn-key Truck Rust-free rock solid truck made in Fremont, CA and has lived its whole life in San Diego. The truck has been exceptionally well cared. Super nice straight body. Only one repaint since new. The color is faded yellow, originally rare maroon paint showing through, making for a great patina! Doors, windows, hood and tailgate open and close very nice. All the deluxe trim is on the truck. All the body components are original to the truck with the exception of the tailgate. Deluxe CST interior featuring: working factory tachometer and all gauges, deluxe door panels, seat upholstery & headliner, uncut dash. Everything works, even the dome light. Comes with original owners manual. The factory 396 motor was professionally rebuilt about 30,000 miles ago. Very smooth running engine with excellent throttle response and great power. Engine runs cool, has excellent oil pressure and no drips! Equipped with upgraded radiator, GM HEI ignition, headers and clean 2 ½” dual-exhaust system with H pipe & quiet mufflers. Runs smooth and quiet – this truck has not been owned by anyone under 40 years of age. The transmission is a smooth-shifting turbo 400. The drive train has been upgraded with one-ton front disk brakes and a one-ton rear axle with 8 lug 16” wheels and Michelin tires. This truck is equiped to push, pull or tow anything. It’s very comfortable to drive. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. Clean title and current registration. Fly in, drive home anywhere. We live in the 92120 zip. We can pick you up at Lindbergh Field Airport. Full tank of gas included. We can also coordinate with your shipper. For those who prefer a short bed, it is becoming increasingly popular to shorten long beds. There are many magazine articles and lots of information on line regarding this conversion.
