You're looking at a 2000 Civic LX Sedan in nice, running condition. I'm listing this auction for my girlfriend as she just purchased a new, 2010 vehicle. This car was owned by my girlfriend's family and it was handed down to her during her time in law school. It's been her daily driver for the last several years but now that she's out of school and has been working, she's decided to get something newer. The maintenance on this car has been kept up incredibly as evidenced by the pile of receipts and maintenance records (see photo gallery below). The original owner, her father even had one of those electronic corrosion protection systems installed to keep the vehicle (see photos). The tires on this car are in great shape and it even comes with two snow tires which are also in terrific condition. This car was recently inspected (April 2010) and easily passed the NY state inspection requirements. Given the age of this vehicle it's in really great shape. The only issues with the car are that the AC isn't working. It was intermittently working last month but has since stopped working and that was the main catalyst in her decision to purchase a new car. I suspect it's the compressor thermal protector but I just don't have the time to deal with it right now. Also, the front power windows are starting to get slow coming up and down. They work 100% of the time, they're just getting slow, so I suspect they'll eventually need to be re-greased. There are no dead spots in the motors or anything like that. Other than those two things, all that's wrong with the vehicle are small, superficial things like slight surface rust and small dents from hail. I've done my best to accurately photograph the car to make sure these superficial imperfections are shown but feel free to ask me other questions!
