Vehicle Detail

This is a very straight and solid southern, all original, never modified, local car with great options. It runs and drives excellent with strong acceleration, straight braking and super smooth ride.It starts easily idles well and does not smoke. I believe the 92k miles to be correct. Documents include the original Protectoplate, dealership brochure, some service records, owners manual in original plastic case and original keys. It has several very cool old decals as well: An ancient Six Flags Atlanta sticker and one from Panama City Fl. It was purchased new at University Chevrolet in Athens Georgia (twenty miles away) on Aug 26, 1969. This car is in the same EXACT colors and options as the car in the 69 Chevy wagons brochure. It was a top of the line car. The top engine option for 69 Chevelle wagons was the Tonowanda built 300 horse 350 4bbl which this car has. It is bone stock with all maintenance recently done including rebuilding the Quadrajet, plugs, wires, cap, coil, thermostat, brakes and fluids.Tires have great tread but are old. The Turbo-Hydramatic 350 trans was rebuilt in 1990 (10k miles ago) for $300. It has a 12 bolt rear and factory boxed control arms. Options include factory air which is all there but not working, the compressor spins,am-fm radio, roof rack, magic gate three way rear door, tissue dispenser, deluxe seat and shoulder belts, power steering, power disc brakes and more.It did not come with the third row seat. Every single piece is factory original with exception of maintenance items. This includes the original T3 headlights. All the glass including the windshield is original, It has the original factory butternut yellow paint with red oxide primer showing in spots. The spare is a bias ply. The original woodgrain decals need to be replaced and would change the appearance of the car completely. There is a piece of trim missing on the front fender but a perfect N.O.S. piece in the original wrapper comes with it. This is a very solid car. The bottoms of the fenders are solid as are the floorpans and even the spare tire well! There is a quarter size hole in the floor of the storage area in the back. The areas under the side rear windows need attention but there is no rust through. I am the third owner and have a clear Georgia title. I could use the money for my buisness or would - never - sell it and will not give it away. Send a phone number or message if you would like more info or high resolution pictures. I may sell a restored 69 SS cowl hood and factory Corvette rallys on brand new 235 60 15 tires as well. Do not bid on this auction if you cannot pay cash for the car. It is described honestly but just turned 41 years old. Like any 41 year old car you should inspect it personally BEFORE the end of the auction to form your own opinion. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early.
