I built it for trails and sand more than rocks because in Michigan, we don't have much more than field stones 12" in diameter and I don't think that should qualify as Rock Climbing.If you're going to do hard-core rock climbing, stronger frame brackets would be a good idea (in my opinion). I drove this as a daily driver for the last few years and from February 2010 until July 2010 with the V8 conversion. This runs great, gets great mileage (much better than any 6cyl Jeep), and gets compliments nearly every time I leave the driveway. My daughter is barely talking to me because I am choosing my new project over the Jeep that she's grown up with and loves. Her friends think I'm the coolest dad ever because of it. The last two times I had it off road was in the dunes. I had been taking it into the dunes regularly with GREAT results, but these times it acted like it was running out of fuel. I believe that it was becoming vapor locked (temps were over 90 degrees with no shade and hard running), but haven't taken it to someone to find out for sure. It does throw an O2 sensor code now, but the sensors are new so I don't think that's a valid code. THIS JEEP DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS IN THE EXHAUST SYSTEM!!! Please check know your laws regarding this for street-legal vehicles. I will allow this Jeep to be shipped, but you are responsible for everything including the arangements and liability as soon as it's loaded on a truck/trailer. I can deliver it anywhere within 75 miles. $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction's close. I do not have and will not participate in an escrow deal because of the prevalence of scammers. If you get an e-mail about an escrow service it will not be from me. I have set the starting bid at what would have been the reserve amount. I'll accept Paypal for the deposit, but full payment must be made by either cashier's check, money order, or cash. All payments must be completely cleared PRIOR to me releasing the title and shipping the Jeep. Even cash payments must be made at a bank to protect myself from counterfieters who seem to be growing in numbers. I'm sharing everything that I can think of but am willing to answer any questions about this. I will post most questions on this ad. This Jeep is up for sale locally and I reserve the right to close the auction at any point due to a sale outside of ebay. The pictures were taken at night and show sand on the floors. The oil stains underneath it are from a 2002 Chrysler, NOT this Jeep. This is parked in the garage when not being driven and the garage floor is dry.
