All oil changes with Mobile 1 Synthetic Autocheck #: This rating scale can be very misleading. It uses the following perameters:(1)accumulated miles, (2)accidents (any repair whatsoever that was reimbursed by insurance companied, whether there was an actual MVA report or not), (3)calulated number of owners, (4)title or registration issues (5) Frame damage (6) Odometer readings differ. I'll addrees the areas that have affected the rating of this car: (1) Mileage- This car has been driven an average 5,435 annually during it's 16 year life with 5 well caring "CarGuy" owners and only 7,000 miles over the last 6 years. (2) Accidents- Early history of this car reflected 2 separate very minor parking incidents resulting in a total of $418.35 repair to the front bumper. Never any frame or body damage. (3) Calulated # of owners- When I purchased the car in 8/2009 I became the 5th owner. These cars (mfg by Honda) are known for their reliability and long mileage lives. The evidence of impecable maintenance and care provided in a binder with all the maintenance records was included with sale of this Great NSX and my major reason for buying this car. I continued this effort with documented receipts of another $4,000 in maintenance and enhancements. (4) Never any title or registration issues on this car. I have the clear title included with the maintenance record binder. (5 & 6) Never any frame damage or odometer issues. The better car rating is CARFAX. I will scan a copy of the CARFAX for this car for your review and include it later. On Aug-29-10 at 10:52:25 PDT, seller added the following information: IMPORTANT REVISION 8/29/2010 Concerning item #2 under Autocheck- The report shows that this car had an acident on 4/21/1995 in Columbis, OH. According to CARFAX this car had nl 20 miles as f 3/25/996 when the original owner renewed the registration. The Autocheck report that I was run 2/12/2006 shows no accident on any date. I find the validity of this autocheck report to be very questionable. Additionally, after contacting the previous owner who sold me the car on 8/009 it was discovered that the parking lot incident noted above that was repaired for $418.35 was in fact a repair receipt included from my seller for a International Dump Truck for one of the company trucks owned by the prior owner and was mistakenly included with the other NSX maintenance receipts. There is is absolutely no evidence to support any accidents involving this fine NSX. I am in process of contacting Autocheck for this error. I have included a scan of the CARFAX report for your review.
