This is a complete except for radiator, 1950 Dodge, Pilot House Era, Deluxe Cab, half ton, short wheelbase, low bed pickup truck. This is the first year of "Three on the Tree" 3 speed manual transmission, shifter on the column and the emergency brake handle coming through the firewall instead of the floor. Designed this way to make more room for three passengers. It is in rough, but fixable condition and a project. The engine does not run as the oil pan has been removed, as well as the transmission and drive line, which I have and are all included. The only thing missing is the radiator and the bed boards. I have a complete extra engine that I am including in this sale. This was once a very special pickup. The stainless grille bars, windshield washers, interior light, arm rest on driver's door and you can still see where the metal frame around the inside of the windshield was once chrome plated. This pickup came with every available option for it's time except maybe the passenger side armrest, which I am not certain they offered at that time. I think you can get them as well as many other parts for this truck from Roberts. The seat is in excellent condition and functions properly, including the firmness adapter. The steering wheel is cracked but still has the very rare horn button that you hardly ever find intact on these models. It has three 15 inch wheels and one 16 inch on it. I have the other three matching 16 inch wheels with good rubber on them which are included in this sale. The running boards are in very fine condition except for a few little dings. Like I said it's had a rough life, but is the very desirable short bed version, has a lot of desirable features and is 99% complete. Keep an eye out as I have many parts available for this truck and many other models. I have tried to describe everything as best I can. Ask any questions before purchasing as there are no refunds. I also have two very nice rear fenders, all the panels to make it a high bed instead of a low bed and I have four extra doors two for each side. All of these items will cut down considerably on your restoration process as they are in very good condition. I also have many more parts for this truck. Let' talk.
