Torch red is a very popular color and this car is no exception. This is AN EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN car with a clean CarFax and no surprises (“NO” accidents, flood damage, Lemon law or Buy-back etc). This car has 22,500 miles and shows and drives as new. It has been very well cared for and shows it. There are no apologies or excuses. THE GOODYEAR TIRES are the factory run flat style tires in excellent condition. The convertible top was replaced by GM about 2 years ago (under warranty) because the rear window was seperating from the top itself. I believe it has every option available in 2001 except the adjutable sport suspension. Kelly Blue Book shows an approx. private owner sale as $24,335 (excellent), $23,385 (Good) or $21,785 (Fair) condition and this car is as close to excellent as possible (original retail cost was over $47,000). The car doesn’t leak or otherwise use fluids between regular scheduled maintenance periods. It averages between 26.5 to 28mpg on the highway and 22mpg plus with combined city/highway usage. Why am I selling, I’m just not using the car with putting less than 900 miles on it this year. So we decided to sell both the Corvette and our 2003 Saab convertible and replace it with one of something else (BMW, AUDI, Saab convertible Cadillac STS or CTS etc of equal value). I do have the car listed locally (both on Craigslist and local car magazines) for trade or to sell outright so I reserve the right to remove this ad at anytime. Driven by a mature (59 yr old) driver and always garaged plus covered with a car cover plus parked over rubber mats to protect the undercarriage. The vehicle is being sold “Where Is and As IS” with any shipping arrangement to be handled by the buyer. The seller will accommodate any shipping requirements, within reason and deliver (if necessary) the vehicle to a reasonable destination for shipment. Cash at pickup delivers the vehicle and a clear title immediately. Any certified bank check or similar payment will need to be cleared prior to handing over the vehicle or said clear title. This time period will be determined by the bank and could be the same day, if drawn on a local bank to a few weeks if an out of the country financial institution. Please have all funds available before bidding as a $500 non-refundable deposit is required from the winning bidder within 36 hours (1 1/2 business days) of auction end or cashier's check via overnight mail. An immediate $500 non-refundable deposit is required through Ebay’s Paypal service to end the auction early if the "Buy it now" option is exercised and the balance in full is due within ten days of auction end, regardless of the pickup date. . If leaving the state or country, the vehicle must be picked up by a professional licensed auto transportation company that can provide a bill of lading. Any out of the state and international buyers will upon completion of the sale be mailed by UPS the title and bill of sale for the vehicle and will be personally responsible for any sales tax and licensing and registration fees in their home state or province, once payment is confirmed to be authentic. In the case these terms of sale are not met seller reserves the right to either re-list the vehicle or offer the vehicle to the next highest bidder. If the buyer decides not to complete the sale by no fault of the seller, this seller will contact Ebay for a refund of the selling fees due to a non-paying buyer.
