Here is a 1980 L-48 Chevrolet Corvette. The car was purchased in the late 80's (second owner), and it has never been wrecked or in an accident. The car was driven by my grandmother about once every two weeks, until she got a newer Corvette in 2005-2006, and lost interest in this one. It has been sitting since then, but just so you know, it was not put into storage because something went wrong with it; she simply lost interest in it. After recently changing the oil, filter, valve cover gaskets, checking the fluids, replacing the battery, and bleeding the front and rear brakes, it starts, idles, runs, and drives fine (except for a miss that can most probably be fixed if the spark plugs and wires are changed). There is almost no rust on the undercarriage, the power windows work, and the tires are about 85-90% tread. It could use a little work, as you can see from the pictures. The car needs a new paintjob, a few interior repairs, new seals around the doors and t-tops, and a new antenna (it was broken off). The headlights have the common lazy-eye problem, and the driver-side visor is missing. It comes with the original T-Top Racks for the rear of the car, the 80's aftermarket overhead panasonic sound system and amp, and a built-in CB radio. All in all, this car is pretty nice to be original, but it would be really nice with a little TLC.
