Vehicle Detail

Hello Ebayer's up for sale is a 1974 Buick Regal 4 door sedan. She's is equipped with A/C ( needs a charge ) R12 system. Compressor works, just need to add freon, If you charge it, it will work... Power windows, which all work, power door locks, driver's side power seat, tilt wheel, and cruise (not working) Also the tilt wheel is a little loose. This was very common in the GM tilt wheels. A matter of taking off the steering wheel and ring and you can gain access to the bolts in which need to be tightened. About a 2hr job and its not that bad.The interior is all original and is in very good condition. The passenger seat is torn but not too bad. and the dash pad shows some light cracks, not bad for the age. The engine is a 350 cu. in. V8 with 104800 original miles. No oil leaks and runs very very well. It has always had its oil changes since it was new on time. The transmission is a Turbo 350 3 speed and has had a filter change apprx 3 years ago and I just had the whole transmission re-sealed so no leaks... Its shifts well and on time. I would take this vehicle anywhere, and I have no doubts about this vehicle at all. it has served me well for many years. Now, the body on the car, it has been re-painted about 25 years ago. So the paint does have some "check " in it here and there but overall has a beautiful shine still. There are some spots of rust which i put touch up paint on it... (see pics). Under the vinyl top has some rust and will need attention at some point. This car presents very well for a 36 yr old vehicle. All of the floor pans, frame and trunk well are in extremely good condition. NO ROT! My uncle in all the places that he felt would eventually rust coated the underneath with a light coat of rubberized tar or undercoating. I have driven this car to Florida, South Carolina and many other trips. Its a great car and is VERY RELIABLE!!!!! The parts that i have replaced on it are as follows. New tires, new brakes rotors bearings and wheel seals, The car has a new exhaust Magnaflow system, sounds great!!!!! The exhaust manifolds were plained and new gaskets have been installed. Heater Core has been replaced, Master cylinder, Distributor has been rebuilt, and timing chain and gear was replaced as well, but the timing chain was done at 68000 miles and gear replaced with a metal one instead of the plastic one that comes from the factory. No need to worry about taking this car anywhere!!! I cant stress that enough... I am the third owner of this beauty and the car has been in the family since it was new. 1st owner had her until 1983 and at that time was sold to my uncle with 23000 miles on it, he had it until 2006 and i received it with 90000 miles. The car has been garaged up until 2006 from 1974. I took over the car and have done alot of work to it which i explained above and I've put 14800 miles on it in the 5 years I've owned it. The car also has the original 8 track player which is unhooked but does work!!!! I unhooked it and installed a AM/FM CD player with two new 6x9's Everything is hidden and installed correctly... no (mickey mouse job) I mounted the CD player in the glove compartment. The wheels are the original Buick Mags and are in good shape. I do have 2 extra wheels that will come with the car, I've seen them go for up to $200.00 per wheel !!!! But i will included them with the car. The spare is also a buick mag. So you will have a total of 7 wheels with this car. So all in a nutshell what you have is a survior form the 70's matching numbers car which will serve you for many many years. The only thing I ask is that whoever shall buy this car, please give her a good home. Upon end of auction i require a $500.00 Deposit (through Paypal) and COD when you pick her up. Cash please or bank check only. Thankyou and good luck bidding. Please email me if you may have any other questions. Mike
