Normal 0 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport, 2 door, 4 Liter 6 cylinder, 3 speed Automatic Transmission, Yellow with Agate interior, 56,449 original miles, 1 Owner, Fully Upgraded 4x4 Suspension and Equipment. Excellent condition! I’m the original owner of this Jeep Wrangler, I purchased it new as a gift for my 72 year old father. He has driven this Jeep for the past 9 years as a second vehicle, basically a weekend toy, and has now moved on to other interests. This Jeep has never been off road other then on a cornfield during an occasional hunting trip and once on the beach in 2002. It has never been abused on hard off road trails, just highway miles around town. It has also never been in any kind of an accident. The vehicle spent its first 4 years parked outside in our driveway but during the later years it has been garaged kept as seen in the pictures. The exterior paint on the vehicle is in excellent condition and shows very well. There is no rust on the body, all surfaces have been kept well waxed. There are a few chips and small dents on the hood, but they can be touched up if desired. The drive train shows typical rust on the coil springs, shocks, axles etc… from east coast winter driving conditions. The front/rear bumper and the rear tire carrier have held up well over the years, but have a few small surface rust spots which could be brushed and sprayed. The Hard Top and Hard Doors have only been taken off once in 9 years, most recently, and the Jeep was stored in the garage during that time. The factory Soft Top is brand new and has never been opened. It was factory installed and is encased and folded behind the rear passenger seat. The interior is in immaculate condition, no rips or tears in any of the seats, cushions are not worn at all. The dashboard has no cracks, center console is fine too. The glove box door has a few small scratched, but not too noticeable and can be inexpensively replaced if desired. Air conditioning blows very cold, fan is strong. The factory speakers are mounted into the roll bar enclosure, CD player works fine. There are 4 illuminated switches mounted cleanly on the dashboard, 2 control the fog and driving lights and 2 control the ARB Front Differential Locker and Compressor. Also included with this sale is the original complete set of Alloy Tires and Rims from the factory (5 total including spare). The tread on these stock tires is about 90% as they were never driven. The current BFG 35x12.5x15 tires are the second set during this vehicles lifetime and they have about 80% tread life, basically new. About the only thing that needs to be replaced are the outside paddle door handles and the outside mirror brackets, both are perfectly functional but the paint has flaked off. Paint has also flaked off of one of the hard top hinges. Factory Fender Flares have also faded from age, otherwise no issues. The sticker price on the vehicle was $22,655 and the following option were ordered for this Jeep: Dual Tops 3-Speed Automatic Transmission Limited Slip Differential Air Conditioning 24D Package Dana 44 Rear End 3.73 Gear Ratio CD Player Privacy Glass (Tinted Rear Windows) Cruise Control Engine Block Heater Floor Matts Rear Wiper for Hard Top Tilt Steering Wheel This Jeep was purchased from the beginning with the intention of making it the most capable off road vehicle, no expense spared. The gearing was changed in both differentials from the stock 3.73 to 4.56 to accommodate the larger 35” tires for maximum power in the proper RPM range. The ARB Front Differential is an air pressure locking system, which can be engaged in extreme situations to lock in both front wheels giving them both power for traction. The system is controlled by a switch mounted on the dash, allowing you to run either 3x4 (two rear - one front) or true 4x4 wheel drive (two front - two rear). In normal winter driving conditions you only need to engage the factory 4 wheel drive lever, giving you limited slip differential in the rear and power to one wheel up front (normal 4 wheel drive). But if you find yourself in an extreme off road condition or a hill climb and you want both front wheels to have locked in power, then you flip a switch to turn on your on-board air compressor and then flip another switch to lock the differential in…pretty cool. An optional quick disconnect hose fitting was installed onto the ARB compressor allowing you to use the compressor to manually inflate your tires. This is a great feature if you’re ever coming off the beach and need to re-inflate your tires. The following upgrades were installed by my local 4X4 performance shop (East Coast Off Road Headquarters) located in Bel Air, Maryland. You’re more then welcome to call and speak to the owner Charlie about any of the custom work he did for us, he’s top notch. Total spent on upgrades including all parts and labor was $14,595. I have all recipes with part numbers and a description of the work that was performed. All paperwork will be included with the sale of the vehicle. The vehicle is being sold as is, un-inspected, all sales final. I have no problem shipping the vehicle, however all shipping arrangements and cost will be at the buyers expense. This will be the third vehicle that I have sold on Ebay and shipping in the continental US is very reasonable and easy so I would not let that be a deterrent.
