SHARP 4x4! 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab, Long Bed 4.8 L V-8 automatic with 140000 miles The truck is clean and in great shape all around. Has cab steps, bedliner with Jeraco bed cap. Chrome exaust tips, wind deflectors on hood/door windows. Tires have plenty of tread left on them. (*note* - dealer didn’t have the raised white letter to match existing rear tires) so there are newer tires on front, complete brake job about 2 years ago. Battery is about 1 year old. Paint is very glossy and in very good condition. But, I want to be clear there are dings/scratches associated with 10 years of common wear. Hood is showing chips (see picture of front end). Body is solid and rust free. There are a few of areas to be noted: left rear quarter (in front of wheel well) has an indentation, as does the left right door - also the molding on the right rear wheel well has a dent that actually lines up with the body contour and is difficult to notice. The front bumper is creased (see pic). This has been one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned... it has always been very reliable and dependable! Starts right up on the turn of the key when cold, but cranks over longer when starting when it warms up. Reason for sale: Due to increased commute to work I bought another vehicle for my daily driver and I’d keep the truck if I could justify insurance/registration costs with as little use as it gets – that is the only reason I’m selling. Additional description: I rarely ever used 4 wheel drive – The shift lever seemed to be difficult to get into 4L – very easy to get into 4H Equipped with electronic tow package (located on shift lever) I never used it, however.
