I haven't been able to get back to Connecticut. Tired of paying storage fees so the 420sel is up for sale Clear Title in hand. Car "DOES NOT RUN". It will need to be " Towed". Car ran when I bought it In March 2010. Even with passenger side front end damage ( easy fix) , the car still ran great ( See Pics). The Good: Paint and body in great condition with no rust. Interior in good condition and could use a little cleaning. Tires > 50% or more. All Power options work but you may want to replace radio. Drove the car around for several hours in Connecticut with no problems Whatsoever. Before leaving town, had muffler replaced at a custom shop nearby ( $500 ). The Not So Good: About 3 hours into my return to Western NY the cruise control went wacky. Had car towed to a local shop. Mechanic said "could be a freeze plug from coolant loss and valve guides causing sputter. There was no damage to the head or gaskets. They got me in "Limp mode" but because of lack of coolant, wouldn't stay running long. Towed car to a local "Secure" storage facility where it still sits today. I purchased another car in New Hampshire 2 months prior and drove that back. I bought a 560sel since then as well. This was an expensive car when new in 1989 ($65,000.00). It can be a nice ride with a little help. Vehicle is being "Sold As Is" .No guarantees of any kind. It needs work or, you can part it out. Please "Do Not Bid" if you don't intend to pay.
