YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1959 TRIUMPH TR3 –TS5679L WHICH IS IN VERY NICE SHAPE. ONLY 63,883 ORGINAL MILES. This car was built in 1959 but first titled in 1960. I am the second owner, purchasing it in 1971. I had the engine removed and completely reworked in 1972. It has been driven less than 10,000 since then. The body restored in 1983 and it has been garaged and driven minimally. The car has been stored for the last 5 years. The chrome is in perfect shape but the body has a few very minor nicks and imperfections from things bumping into it while it was in the garage. This would be a great car for daily use or enjoying on the weekends. I topped up all the fluids and did get it to run but needs a little tinkering as it seems to be running a little too rich. Options: Plexiglas side wings (not shown) 60 spoke chrome wire wheels. Side curtains, Monza high performance exhaust system. Electric switch operated radiator fan, seat belts, car cover. Other: Has T handle and hand engine crank however the crank cannot be used as electric fan blocks access point on lower front of engine. Hand cranking this 2 liter engine might be a test in any event. Miscellaneous spares including a new fuel pump. 3 repair manuals – Robert Bently, Haynes & Chiltons. Full balance of payment is due within 7 days of the end of the auction and I cannot assist in financing. overseas buyers must wire the money within five days of the end of the auction. I will be happy to follow any instructions for shipping you give after you purchase the car. I cannot recommend a carrier, or obtain rates for you, this will have to be done on your end. Becoming the winner is not an invitation to inspect the car after the auction has ended and deciding then if you want the car or not. Upon completion of the auction, the winner will be contractually obligated to purchase the car in accordance with e-Bay policies and laws.
