For sale a 1985 Mazda RX-7 with a 5spd transmission. Runs and drives great. Great example of this model. Acquired at a local charity auction and so no service history is known. This is a one owner vehicle with a clean Carfax with no accidents. I have the original title that was issued in 1985. ENGINE The engine runs solid. Starts right up and does not smoke. This one is the much sought after fuel injected model (GSL-SE). Just tuned up and ready to go. Things replaced were spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap and rotor and new air filter. Runs great! I would not hesitate to drive this car long distances. Cooling system is working great too. TRANSMISSION It has a 5spd manual transmission. It goes into the gears with no grinding or slipping issues. The clutch does grab a little low for my taste, but everything is working fine. Not sure if this is normal for this model. INTERIOR Interior is burgundy leather interior. It has some tears on the passenger seat and drivers seat. The dash is in excellent condition. PAINT AND BODY The body is in excellent shape with no major dents or scrapes. The car has its original factory paint except for the drivers fender and front bumper that I noticed has been repainted at some point. California car with no rust on the body. It does have a few door dings on both sides of the car. I tried to get them to show up on the pictures, but they didn't really come out. WHEELS AND TIRES It has the factory alloy wheels with Michelin tires that have about 40% tread left. The car drives very well on the freeway with no shakes are rattles. The alignment is also straight. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES Both windows work. The passenger side is a little slow to go up put works fine. The A/C system blows cold. The sunroof is manual and works fine also. There is a second glass moon roof that comes with the car also. The radio is the original stock cassette player that turns on, but no sound comes out. The power antenna works fine also. Power mirrors work fine too. It still has the original floor mats. Being sold at reasonable reserve and will sell to the highest bidder. No buy now price sorry!
