selling a 79 fj40 . its competly original, f2 4.2liter engine with all the smog intact and it all works, original 4 speed trans , etc , it has 56,280 miles on it , factory power steering , heater and defrosters all work , has a current PA state inspection with smog until the end of the year , solid frame with just surface rust no holes in the frame , the floor in the front is solid with some rust on the drivers side it appears the drivers side may have been replaced at one time but is solid ........ passenger side still has the white paint , the back doors are solid and the rear door frame has been repaired very nicely . it also has the rear heat unit and it gets nice and toasty in there in the winter , i took very good pics of everything but if you need more pics please ask i think the only down fall to it is 2 holes in the back 1 near the roll bar back mount roughly 1x1" and one hole behind the drivers seat about 1.5x1.5", drivers seat has a tear in it .... and the fact that it has a 37" tall military tire on it , it rides rough till there warmed up then after that its nice driving it ......you would have no problems with this as a daily driver , but i would swap out the tires for something alittle more forgiving , unless you dont mind the ride , which its not that bad , but some people have a different tolerance level than what i do . all in all this is a very nice fj40 that is completly original and never hacked on mechanically other than a spring over , which was done very nicely , it would be an excellent fj40 to do a frame off resto , these sell for over 25k with a nice frame off restoration and this would not take alot of time or money to get that done right if you already have the tools and know how to do it and get it done . but i never did a frame off on a toyota so im just assuming , but from what i can see it wouldnt be to bad i preffer a 500.00 deposit within 48 hours of auction ending and final payment 1 week after auction ends , i preffer cash , no checks or money orders . any questions please ask , also it can be seen in person please email me 1st to schedule an appointment . thanks since this is an older vehicle it is being sold as is with no warranty
