1955 Cadillac Coupe DeVille You are bidding on a 1955 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with 12,000 actual miles! The title states actual and we have a state inspection report from a few years back showing the miles as 11,xxx and a service receipt from 2000 with the miles also around 11,xxx. This is in nice condition and with a little work it can be bought up to the next level. The body is nice and straight. It is original sheet metal and solid. It has had one repaint some time ago to its original color combo. There is a couple minor areas of bubbles on the rear quarters with some tiny holes starting on the passenger side. Also on the bottom of the passenger fender are a couple minor bubbles. Nothing bad but I have to point them out. On the drivers quarter there is one spot about a quarter size of paint chipped and surface rust from being exposed but its not rot. The glass is in nice shape. The original chrome is in good original condition with only minor pitting on some of the pot metal. The interior is very clean and in very nice unrestored condition. You can tell it has only 12,000 miles by the condition of this interior. The seats are like new. The carpet is still in great shape. The door panels are in nice condition. The dash is in nice shape. Even the headliner is nice. The interior chrome is still in nice shape. She has factory power windows. The original AM radio is still in place and on the dash is the original Autronic Eye. The glovebox cardboard is in nice condition with the original owners manual inside. This car has sat for a few years. The owner had passed and the family kept the car in the garage until it came to our dealership. It does not currently run and may have a bad head gasket as there was water in the oil. We do not know what the car will need so it is being sold AS/IS - NOT IN RUNNING CONDITION. We cannot make any claims to the condition of the motor or drivetrain. She has an automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. It rides on original style bias ply Wide White Walls. Overall, this is a good solid car in decent shape that with a little effort you can it back on the road again.
