Hello, I am selling my 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV edition. I am the second owner of this vehicle only to my grandfather. My grandfather became unable to drive a couple decades ago and he parked his car in his garage and literally just forgot about it. He is deceased now and his car has became mine, I've done all the work getting the title clear into my name but unfortunately cannot afford the keep up on such a vehicle! Due to this and arising school bills I must sell as soon as possible! First things first, as of right now, this vehicle DOES NOT RUN. This is only due to the length of time the vehicle sat in my grandfathers garage, this is NOT DUE TO MOTOR FAILURE! I had the car towed via flatbed to my house and it has been exposed to the elements since this past March. It does not have a hot battery under the hood and I will NOT try to crank the motor only because if I were to fix her up I would want to replace the seals, gaskets, hoses, and etc. So in respect to the future owner I will not attempt a crank. The entire vehicle has an ACTUAL 63,677 MILES! The motor is a Ford 460 big block and is sound, there are no leaks that my eye can see, I do know that there is old gas in the tank so that definitely needs to be replaced. Besides that she could start right up. The body is in fair to good condition. There are beautiful chrome bumpers on this car. The wheels and tires are still good, there is no dry rot and I still have the original hub caps as you can see. This vehicle has a gorgeous vinyl roof with extremely unique back passenger opera windows. All the glass of course is great and the lights all still good too. There is some rust though... the main concern are around the wheel wells due to being driven in northern weather but I have tried to include photos of the visible damage, I do not believe it is bad but its there regardless. The interior is NEAR MINT! It has power everything, cruise, AC, windows, seats, it has a designer clock in the dash and the original ATRAC player! The interior is an awesome brown cloth that isnt hot like leather. The rug is a brown shag that also looks great, the only gripe about the entire interior is a spot of mold on the carpet right at the door jam driver side. Now I know this car is by no means perfect but it is a looker from back in the day and has extremely low miles. It deffinitely deserves to be put back onto the road.
