Up for auction is a 1985 Jeep CJ7 Renegade with factory hard top and hard doors. This is an unrestored daily driven Jeep with only 92300 original miles. It has absolutely no mechanical or accessory issues. This jeep is 100% stock with the exception of the center console, Best top roll bar pads, Retrosound stereo, and new Pioneer speakers (the dash was not cut to install these items). As a daily driver this jeep handles exactly as it should, shifts smoothly, and runs reliably. Parts that have been replaced include: vacuum hoses, heater hoses, radiator, air conditioner hoses, clutch, all door and windshield gaskets, and aluminum valve cover. Service that has been performed: carburetor rebuilt, air conditioner lines replaced and re-serviced with R12 (keeps Jeep cold during hot Texas summer) Accessories that have been added include: Thule rack, spare tire gas can holder, high lift jack, Hella front and rear lights, Retrosound radio (radio that fits classic vehicle den slots that provide high quality sound but remains a classic style. The radio has two auxiliary inputs for ipod or any mp3 accessory). This Jeep has a sound system that can be heard while driving with the top off, but keeps a classic OEM look. The overall condition of the jeep is excellent. The paint is original and glossy with minor imperfections expected from a 25-year old vehicle. The carpet and upholstery is in outstanding condition. The seats are not ripped or faded and looks as good as it rolled off the show room floor. The jeep comes with a full set of front and rear OEM Jeep Whicto floor mats that are also in excellent condition (very rare). The engine compartment is clean and leak-free. The frame is 100% rust-free. Any surface rust that was on the body was sanded off and new paint was applied. There are absolutely no rusty holes that go through any of the body work. This is an excellent example of a 1985 Jeep CJ7. It is in 100% working order and is reliable enough to drive anywhere. It would be a great for a daily driver or collector looking for an original unrestored example. This jeep also includes an OEM Jeep Whicto factory bikini top in the matching rare honey color with all mounting hardware and storage bag.
