1993 HONDA GOLDWING This classic six cylinder 1500cc highway cruiser with only 41,657 legitimate miles on the odometer is in magnificent condition for its vintage. The black paint and chrome are in excellent shape, plastic saddle bags lock, show no cracks or scrapes, there are no rips or tears on the custom gel seat, and there is no evidence that I can see to indicate this bike has ever been laid down. Like any Honda, it is a cold blooded bitch 'til she warms, but she runs nice and cool, purrs as it meanders down the road effortlessly at 75 mph pulling 35mpg, and it starts every time at the push of the start button. It has a new battery, a non-slipping clutch, a functioning radio, heated grips, and all the other GW features of the era. I saw one on the highway the other day and it was pretty rough looking in comparison to the beauty! The tires show little wear, and it did pass NH inspection the last time it was registered. I purchased this GOLDWING on eBay in April of 2009, had it shipped from CA, and rode it last summer and fall. It was ridden a few times this spring and then put in storage so the 'ol girl is a bit dusty from sitting forlorn in the shed. It does come with a cover, a couple of helmets, and the original owner’s manual, too. I have never used reverse gear, the cruise control, the compressor or the CB/Intercom, so I cannot vouch for whether they function or not. Please bear in mind that this scooter is for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. All I can tell you is that it starts, runs reliably hour after hour, uses no oil, and that cosmetically, it is in excellent condition. I doubt that there is a better looking '93 GW out there! There are no warranties, either implicit or implied, and I will make myself available to help with shipping if the bike is to be transported. I am no mechanic so all of the statements above are as accurate as a layman can be anticipated to know. I have sold a couple of my cars on eBay, albeit eons ago, and the buyers were both very satisfied with the accuracy and veracity of my listing, which was reflected in very favorable comments on my sellers feedback page. Hit the road for fall foliage in style and comfort on this head-turning 1993 GOLDWING. Based on MY experience, I guarantee you that everywhere you stop, folks will come up and ogle this grand-dame of the highway. There is a reasonable reserve on this sale, and the reason I am selling the bike is because I have purchased a Corvette convertible.
