Vehicle Detail
Hey guys, looks like the time has come for me to post mine for sale. I bought it new almost 5 years ago and had hoped to keep it forever, but the family situation necessitates a change. Anyways, it's a mechanically bone stock 05 Z51 coupe with 40k miles. It's got the loaded 05 package, which was called 1SB, that includes HUD, power seats, telescoping steering wheel, 6 disc in-dash CD, etc. The few modifications are listed below: 3M Clearbra - entire front, rocker panels, and mirrors Tinted windows - Complies with 37 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) B-quiet ultimate and dynamat insulation Goodridge stainless brake lines Optima Yellow top installed 4/1/2010 iPod adapter GM Competition gray wheels with new Kumho Ecsta SPTs GM Red interior - driver, side console, door, glove box, and seat belts. GM Ron Fellows center console GM Z06 brake cooling ducts C6-R Jake decals on the b-pillars I have ALL of the stock parts that came off the car, including the brake lines, silver wheels, center console, brake ducts, and black interior parts with exception of the seat belts and the black panel on the side of the console (broke a tab off, but its cheap). I'm happy to configure the car however the buyer wants with respect to the wheels and interior color: silver/comp gray and black/red. I paid a fortune for this car new and it kills me to sell it, especially considering that the clearbra has kept it looking brand new even after a couple years. The only blemishes worth mentioning are the few (touched up) paint chips shown in the pictures, on the halo, the top, the passenger mirror, and the rear quarter panel. Also, the driver's seat has the typical corvette wrinkles that they all develop. With respect to price, the average "excellent" number I came up with was $27,700 and the average "good" number was $26,500. The sum of the mods listed above is approximately $3000, and the clearbra in particular has immaculately preserved the paint on the car enough to push it VERY close to "excellent." The wifey wants it to go so the first $27,000 takes it, guys. Considering how cool these cars are, I think that's a tremendous value and priced aggressively.
